24/003 Provision of Fleet Purchase and Services for Uisce Éireann

UÉ is conducting a market sounding exercise to understand availability in the market to suit its needs as Uisce Éireann is considering establishing a qualification system for all of our Fleet Purchase and Service requirements. The Qualification System would facilitate several procurements which would include but not be limited to the following: • Purchase of Light Commercial Vehicles (LCV’s). • Purchase of Heavy Goods Vehicles (HGV’s) • Purchase of Mobile Equipment (ME). The Contracting Entity will provide all purchase specifications for each vehicle type (unit) to be procured. • Fitout for Light Commercial Vehicles (LCV’s) and Heavy Goods Vehicles (HGV’s). The Contracting Entity will provide all fitout specifications for each vehicle type (unit) to be procured. • Fleet Management Services • EV Solutions Refer to the RFI document attached separately for a detailed scope listing. This PIN and the subsequent meetings (if required) are intended to create a forum of interaction to assist UÉ with research on the structure of the market and specialist competencies available in this area. The principal objective of this exercise is to receive feedback from the marketplace relating to UÉ’s business requirements. It is expected to bring a provider’s perspective to the fore prior to the commencement of a tender competition. The PIN expectations are: 1.Maximise compliance with EU and national procurement rules by achieving appropriate transparency, competition and fairness with regard to the award of this potential contract; 2.Establish the nature, structure and capacity of the market 3.Planned Meetings - UÉ may organise meetings in the coming months with interested parties. The venue and date(s) will be advised to respondents in due course. UÉ may select a cross section of companies based on their submissions and specialties. UÉ may invite up to 5 interested parties with proven experience in electric vehicle smart charging to present and show case their offering in a workshop in a UÉ office or alternatively a virtual session held over MS Teams.
