The British Antarctic Survey (BAS) is looking for satellite communication services to allow for internet connections onboard the RRS Sir David Attenborough as well as the research stations. This is a split requirement, 1 lot within the procurement will be for a Geostationary Earth Orbit satellite connection (GEO) and the other lot is for a Low Earth Orbit connection (LEO). ## Contract award Lots: - Lot LOT 1: Geostationary Earth Orbiting (GEO) connection - Lot LOT 2: Low Earth Orbiting (LEO) connection
