Description

The contracting authority will upgrade the system for haematological examinations with an instrument for automated colour/smear and digital morphology. Vestre Viken HF (VVHF) c/o the Laboratory Medicine Department, Medical Biochemisty, will upgrade its system for haematological examinations with instruments for automated colour/smear and automated digital morphology (digital microscope). VVHF intends to enter into a contract with Sysmex Norge for an upgrade of existing equipment. Three of the four hospitals in VVHF have Sysmex XN haematology instruments as their main instruments. These instruments are 1 and 2 year olds. The chosen system involves full automation between the haematology instrument, colour/smear instrument and the digital microscope, so that manual activities are reduced and processes are standardised. Sysmex Norge is the only supplier that can connect to the existing equipment used in VVHF.
