Network Hardware Replacement and Support

Description

Stonewater invited interested and qualified suppliers to participate a competitive process for Network Hardware Replacement and Support Contract, hereafter referred to as ‘The Tender’. The tender formed part of Stonewater's IT strategy is to undertake an infrastructure programme throughout 2024 and 2025. This covers a number of areas relating to migration of on premises services, to cloud-based, the enhancement of data centre/network connectivity to enable the facility to exploit the benefits of cloud integration and such. Stonewater was therefore seeking to appoint a contractor to refresh network and firewall hardware at key sites and data centres supported by a managed services partner who can install, migrate, and manage the new equipment. Lot 1: The process was conducted as a single-stage Open Procedure, in line with the stipulations of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015. All commercial and technical proposals were issued by bidders at the same time, for assessment by Stonewater's evaluation panel.
