Description

To supply and install storage units 1 no. with 6 lockers/sections and 3 no. units with 4 lockers/sections, which will give access to sports equipment free of charge to the general public across Cork City Council Parks, with the view of increasing participation in physical activity, while also increasing the using of local amenities. Ideally, the storage of small-scale sports equipment accessible through a smartphone compatible application. An important element to this tender is that access to the smartphone application is free of charge to the end user, i.e. the general public. The units will be located outdoors and must be of a standard to endure the elements of outdoor placement. The units must be of robust design and of a standard to withstand damage from vandalism. The locations of many of the units will not have access to power, thus self-contained units are required.
