Description
The services comprise a suite of recreational and educational after school activities to be delivered in a fun and relaxed manner so as to engage and inspire young people with a view to offering a pathway into further education and career development. The services are being delivered in a total of 13 lots as follows: • Lot 1: Safepass Course, • Lot 2: Pre-Apprenticeship Carpentry, • Lot 3: Music lessons — Learn to Play, • Lot 4: Introduction to Culinary Arts, • Lot 5: FAI Football Coaching Instruction, • Lot 6: Personal Trainer Instruction Programme and Gym Instruction, • Lot 7: Personal Wellbeing Programme, • Lot 8: A Practical Introduction to Design and Merchandising, • Lot 9: Art Tuition, • Lot 10: Drama, • Lot 11: Pyrography, • Lot 12: Boxing Training Instruction Programme, • Lot 13: Digital Music Production. • To deliver a Safe Pass Programme and issue participants a Safe Pass Registration Card on successful completion of same. • Programmes are to be delivered up to five times per annum, on a quarterly basis with capacity to deliver one additional session. • To develop and deliver an onsite teaching programme to allow participants to develop basic carpentry and woodwork skills with a view to progressing toward a related apprenticeship. Consideration should be given to developing a programme that would gain recognition as a Pre-Apprenticeship course or QQI Level 4/5. • Modules are to be delivered over 20 hours per week based on the need of the Campus on a monthly basis, as part of an after school personal development programme. • To develop and deliver an onsite music teaching programme across a selection of instruments. • Modules are to be delivered over 20 hours per week based on the need of the Campus on a monthly basis, as part of an after school personal development programme. • To develop and deliver an onsite foundation in basic culinary arts programme. • Consideration should be given to developing a programme that would be looked upon favourably by prospective employers and further education providers with a view to achieving QQI Level 4 accreditation. • Modules are to be delivered over 20 hours per week based on the need of the Campus on a monthly basis, as part of an after school personal development programme. • To develop and deliver an onsite coaching programme and a recreational programme. • Consideration should be given to developing a programme that would deliver FAI approved; Safeguarding 1, Youth Intro/PDP 3, Adult Intro and Licenced Courses. • Modules are to be delivered over 60 hours per week, split equally between the two programmes, based on the need of the Campus on a monthly basis, as part of an after school personal development programme. • To develop and deliver an onsite personal trainer programme and provide personal training instruction. • Consideration should be given to developing a personal trainer programme that would be looked upon favourably by prospective employers and further education providers with a view to achieving accreditation. • Modules are to be delivered over 40 hours per week, split equally between the 2 programmes, based on the need of the Campus on a monthly basis, as part of an after school personal development programme. • To develop and provide a personal wellbeing programme, to be versatile in nature. Examples of offerings could include, but are not limited to: beauty treatments, yoga, wellbeing and relaxation. • Programmes are to be delivered over 8 hours per week, based on the need of the Campus on a monthly basis, as part of an after school personal wellness programme. • To develop and deliver an onsite foundation programme in design and merchandising and a recreational programme. • Consideration should be given to developing a programme that would be looked upon favourably by prospective employers and further education providers with a view to achieving QQI Level 5 accreditation. • Programmes which draw on a suite of disciplines, to incorporate additional skills such as photography, would be looked upon more favourably but are not essential. • To develop and deliver an onsite art tuition programme. • Consideration should be given to developing a programme that would be looked upon favourably by further education providers with a view to achieving QQI accreditation. Programmes which draw on a suite of disciplines would be looked upon more favourably. • Modules are to be delivered over 40 hours per week based on the need of the Campus on a monthly basis, as part of an after school personal development programme. • To develop and deliver an onsite drama and film studies programme. • Consideration should be given to developing a programme that would engage young people in building self-confidence through drama in a fun, energetic and dynamic environment through dramatics, role play and games while also preparing students for Leinster School of Music and Drama or Royal Irish Academy of Music accredited examinations. • To develop and deliver an onsite pyrography programme. • Consideration should be given to developing a programme that would be looked upon favourably by further education providers with a view to achieving QQI accreditation. • Modules are to be delivered over 60 hours per week based on the need of the Campus on a monthly basis, as part of an after school personal development programme. • To develop and deliver a boxing training instruction programme. • Consideration should be given to developing a programme that would incorporate Level 1 and Level 2 Coaching Courses by the Irish Athletic Boxing Association. • Modules are to be delivered over 12 hours per week based on the need of the Campus on a monthly basis, as part of an after school personal development programme. • To develop and deliver a digital music production instruction programme. • Consideration should be given to developing a programme that would be looked upon favourably by further education providers with a view to achieving QQI accreditation. • Modules are to be delivered over 20 hours per week based on the need of the Campus on a monthly basis, as part of an after school personal development programme.
