Þverarfjallsvegur (73) í Refasveit and Skagastrandarvegur (74) around Laxa

Description

The Icelandic Road and Coastal Administration (IRCA) requests bids for a 8.5 km-long road section, Þverárfjallsvegur (No 73) and 3.3 km-long road section: Skagastrandarvegur (No 74). The project includes construction of new bridge over Laxá river, length 106 meters. In addition the project includes the construction of side roads, a total of about 4.5 km long. The estimated main quantities for the road construction are: • ­ road wedges/Fillings 271 000 m; • ­ rock cutting 2 450 m; • ­ steel pipes 1 000 m; • ­ subbase 80 500 m; • ­ Roadbase 23 200 m3; • ­ double surface dressing 102 000 m; • ­ bituminous material 4 100 m; • ­ gravel surfacing 920 m; • ­ road safety barrier 1 930 m; • ­ fences 20 km; • ­ electrical cable 1 300 m; • ­ lamp posts 32 pcs; ­ Road wedges completion and finishing 440 000 m. • the estimated main quantities for Laxá are: • ­ road safety barrier 252 m; • ­ excavation 935 m; • ­ fillings 5.000 m; • ­ rock cuttings 50 m; • ­ rock anchors 102 stk.; • ­ formwork 2.791 m; • ­ reinforcement steel 122 tonn; • ­ post-tension cables 27 31 tonn; • ­ concrete 1 331 m.
