School catering services

Description

Inspiring Primaries Academy Trust, formed in June 2017, is located in Leicestershire. They are a charitable, school led multi academy trust of Church of England schools and community schools working closely together in service to their local communities. The proposed contract will be for the outsourced provision of catering services to the client. It is the client’s expectation that the successful bidder shall be responsible for the operation of the catering function including employment and management of staff, supply of foodstuffs, consumables and light equipment and preparing and serving appropriate meals. The contract period will be for 3 years initially with the option to extend for 2 further 1 year periods. The schools all currently receive their catering services from a local authority provider. There will be catering staff on the Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS). There are currently 9 primary schools part of the Trust.
