Description

The dispenser is initially required at Liverpool Hospital Services where staff manually prepare large numbers of bags of dry ice for the issue of both frozen components and tissue products. The dry ice dispenser design is expected to resolve manual handling incidents caused by producing dry ice bags by hand using a scoop. If the design is successful the equipment may be rolled out to other Hospital Services Departments where the dry ice throughput is high.
