Description
The purpose of the contract is to cover the contracting authority's need for waste management services of trade waste and to contribute to cost and environmentally optimal waste management solutions and procedures at municipal properties. The properties included in the contract are i.a.: schools, nursery schools, institutions, sports buildings and administration buildings spread over large parts of the municipality. The contract includes the following services: 1) Hire of collection units (sacks, containers); 2) Hire of vacuum machine with the accompanying material/equipment for the health sector and other units (c.f. point 1.8); 3) Hire of a packaging press/baler with the accompanying material/equipment (c.f. point 1.9); 4) One-time hire of/ordered assignments for collection units (e.g., containers); 5) Emptying collection units: 5.1) Periodic collection of agreed fractions in accordance with the waste plan for each unit; 5.2) Collection of one-time hire of/ordered assignments for collection units. 6) Weighing waste in collection units when collected (scales assembled on a vehicle) (c.f. point 1.12.3); 7) Placing containers back at the collection site; 8) Transport to a certified reception facility for recycling, incineration, or final disposal; 9) Weighing the content in the containers; 10) Placement and collection of functional and appropriate collection units, as well as repair/maintenance/service of containers as required; 11) Delivery and replacement of sacks for Molok waste containers; 12) Delivery of sacks for collection units where the supplier requires that they are used; 13) Delivery of safe packaging for infectious waste/hazardous waste, including sharp objects, e.g., hypodermic needles; 14) Management of EE waste and special waste in accordance with the current law and rules; 15) Security shredding; 16) Treatment of fractions for recycling and final disposal; 17) Registration and logging data on sorting degree, amount and type of waste specified for each entity, as well as periodic reporting of registered data; 18) Digital system for control and follow-up of waste management at the contracting authority and its units (c.f. point 1.4); 19) Guidelines, training, information material, and routine descriptions for the contract for the contracting authority's collection locations (c.f. requirements 1.12.1-2 and 1.12.4); 20) Preparation of a waste plan (c.f. requirement 1.12.3); 21) Annual review of statistics with a focus on achieved optimisation of the waste systems; 22) Delivery of bags for wet organic waste, option; 23) Washing/cleaning collection units, option. The above list is not to be seen as exhaustive. Activities can be included in the contract period if the activity is considered to be within the scope and purpose of the contract. Public waste containers are placed in the municipality to be used by the general public. The contracting authority owns the contains and collects the waste. This waste is to be considered as trade waste and is included in the contract.
