The service includes a range of integrated referral management, diagnostic and community-based elective care and treatment services within community settings across a broad range of specialties. It includes a strong emphasis on local collaborations and integrated care pathways, with a focus on patient satisfaction, clinical governance and meeting local health care needs. There is a strong commitment to improve healthcare for all the people of LLR, with services being delivered as close to home as possible. Lot 1: The service includes a range of integrated referral management, diagnostic and community-based elective care and treatment services within community settings across a broad range of specialties. With the exception of cataract surgery, the commissioned services are non-consultant led. The services includes a strong emphasis on local collaborations and integrated care pathways, with a focus on patient satisfaction, clinical governance and meeting local health care needs. There is a strong commitment to improve healthcare for all the people of LLR, with services being delivered as close to home as possible. The ICB is intending to award a contract to an existing provider following direct award process C, where the existing provider is satisfying the existing contract and will likely satisfy the proposed new contract, and the contract is not changing considerably, and the test for considerable change is not met. The approximate lifetime value of the contract is c. £13.5m. The dates between which the services are intended to be provided are: 01/04/2026 to 31/03/2027.
