Kerry and Cork City Bridges – VRS and Expansion Joint Contract 2022

Description

The project involves carrying out bridge works in County Kerry and Cork City. The installation of Vehicle Restraint Systems at 8 No. bridges in County Kerry and the repair and replacement of movement joints at 5 No. bridges in Cork City. The works to the bridges in Kerry comprise the design and installation of VRS barriers and terminals and the required ancillary works at each of the 8 No. bridges, which includes the construction of a reinforced concrete ground beam, masonry parapet construction and pavement works. The works to the 5 No. bridges in Cork City comprise repair and replacement works to existing movement joints and carriageway resurfacing works.
