Til DTU Aquas nye forskningsskib, Dana V, ønsker DTU at købe et videnskabeligt splitbeam-ekkolod, der skal monteres på skibet. Splitbeam-ekkolodet skal placeret på skibets sænkekøl og skal anven-des til moderne flerfrekvensmålinger af fisk og zooplankton, så der kan estimeres på deres fore-komst i åbent hav og under is-forhold. Det skal både kunne anvendes imens skibet sejler med stan-dard undersøgelseshastighed og i stationære situationer.
