PA124 - Portable Appliance Testing (PAT)

Description

Wigan Council wishes to appoint a Supplier to carry out Portable Appliance Testing (PAT) across it's premises and assets. This procurement is a below-threshold contract and is being conducted in accordance with Part 6 of the Procurement Act 2023. In line with the Local Government (Exclusion of Non-commercial Considerations) (England) Order 2026 and associated government guidance, Wigan Council has elected to reserve this competition to Suppliers based within Wigan Borough. For the purposes of this procurement, a Supplier will be considered “based within Wigan Borough” where it can demonstrate a substantive operational presence within the Borough. This includes, but is not limited to, a staffed office, depot, or service delivery base from which the contract will be performed. Suppliers that do not meet this requirement will not be eligible to participate in this procurement. Keywords: Testing, Portable, Appliance
