Maintenance and Response Contract 2 (M&R2)

Description

This notice relates to the procurement of the second iteration of Maintenance and Response (M&R) contracts. The M&R contracts support the effective operation, maintenance and resilience of the Strategic Road Network (SRN), which is one of the biggest and most important pieces of infrastructure in the country. The SRN is comprised of more than 4500 miles of motorways and major A roads which are at the core of our national transport system. National Highways is looking for suitable contractors to provide and undertake: - Cyclical maintenance - Reactive maintenance to address urgent repairs - Incident response - Severe weather operations and winter maintenance - Operational roadside technology maintenance and schemes - Small asset renewal works such as road markings, soft estate, lighting, road restraint systems and fencing. National Highways are looking to engage with the supply chain regarding contractual and procurement options associated with this procurement.
