Soft Market Testing – Council owned land for potential to develop a DfE Registered AP Free School

Soft Market Testing is a method of gathering Market Intelligence on a given subject area by engaging with potential Providers of the services required. Nottinghamshire County Council is undertaking a soft market testing exercise to build understanding of the market and to capture views of a potential opportunity for a Provider to develop a DfE registered AP Free School on Council owned land in Worksop Nottinghamshire. We have included some questions that should be completed on the response form and returned to us via the Portal by 12 noon on Friday 19th December 2025. The information and insight we obtain from this will then support the development of any future tendering opportunity. Neither the intentions nor the purpose of this soft market testing exercise is to confer any advantage upon its participants in any future procurement process.
