Dear Sir/Madam, Welthungerhilfe is one of the largest private aid organizations in Germany; it is politically independent and non-denominational. Since it was founded on December 14, 1962, 13,424 overseas projects in about 72 countries and territories have been supported with 5.76 billion euros. Welthungerhilfe follows the principle of empowering people to help themselves to sustainably improve their living conditions, through approaches ranging from fast disaster relief to reconstruction and long-term development cooperation projects with national and international partner organizations. Welthungerhilfe (WHH) is registered with the Government of Sudan as a foreign voluntary organization since June 1998 and is currently operational in North Darfur, Kassala, Red Sea and in Gedaref state. WHH has been operating in North Darfur, Sudan since 2004 implementing humanitarian assistance projects as well as developmental projects with its country office located in Port Sudan. WHH receives its funding from the Federal German Government, the European Union, USAID/OFDA, the United Nations and many other globally recognized donors. Welthungerhilfe is implementing a project internally coded SDN 1298 Therefore, Welthungerhilfe is currently seeking a reliable, competent, and reputable organization with adequate capacity for Rehabilitation of the Old Water Treatment Plant for Kilo 26 camp and Host community, within the scope of this project and stated time. To implement the planned activities Welthungerhilfe is inviting tenderers to submit a bid for the following contracts: Rehabilitation of the Old Water Treatment Plant for Kilo 26 camp and Host community.
