Public Health Scotland is seeking to put in place a contract for the provision of a storage, collation and distribution service for all of The Authority’s public health campaigns and publications which can range from order fulfilment of stock publications to specific campaigns Lot 1: Public Health Scotland is seeking to put in place a contract for the provision of a storage, collation and distribution service for all of The Authority’s public health campaigns and publications, which can range from order fulfilment of stock publications to specific campaigns. On average, the Authority runs around 25 campaigns and receives around 1000 orders for publications per annum. Publications are delivered to the supplier by our Print contractors. The contract will be composed of two main elements: Element 1 is publication distribution – this involves picking, packing and delivery of individual single orders placed by clients from the PHS catalogue of publications. Element 2 is campaign distribution – this involves the collation and distribution of bespoke campaign materials to an address database provided. Online Reporting System The contractor will provide an online stock management system that the Authority’s Logistics Team will require to have access to. The system should contain the following: Real time stock levels Historical reports on all movements of stock and ability to download The ability for the Authority to create pre-receipts or ASNs to give notification of stock deliveries into the warehouse The ability to view proof of deliveries for all orders where possible Access to miscellaneous information such as the stock line code, picked stock that is in the process of leaving the warehouse and the ability to notify of stock that is to be recycled.
