PMP 25 - Replacement Heating Infrastructure to Block 1 – Phase 1 at Gledhow Primary School, Lidgett Lane, Roundhay, Leeds, LS8 1PL.

Description

The mechanical services installation shall generally comprise of the following: a)Isolation, draining down, disconnection and removal of the original heating system b)Extend new heating distribution pipework from the existing electric air source heat pumps/gas fired boilerplant located within the basement to serve new Fan Convectors in classrooms and LST style radiators within SEN accommodation, cloakrooms, toilets and circulation corridors. c)Electrical alteration works to accommodate the new hearting installation. d)Builders works, including making good to walls and floors disturbed by the removal of the redundant fan convectors, radiators and pipework, holes through walls and floors including making good to accommodate new pipework and associated re-decoration works. e)Provision of timber boxings to all new low-level pipework. f)Insulation of all new pipework located within basement, heater enclosures, service ducts, and boxings. g)Flushing out, re-filling, pressure testing, water treatment, re-balancing and commissioning of whole heating system.
