Description
The Environmental Toxicology Advisory Service (ETAS) is a reactive enquiry service which provides information and advice to Environment Agency staff, largely in Operations, about substances in the environment. Most enquiries are dealt with internally, however an external call down contract is also a key part of the service. This provides 24hour support to help respond to enquiries about substances in the environment. The service, including management of the external call down contract, is run and managed by the Water Research Team within the Chief Scientist’s group in the Environment Agency.
