The Education Procurement Service (EPS) intends to run a competitive procurement process for the Supply of a Library Inventory Management System on behalf of Trinity College Dublin. The Library of Trinity College Dublin (TCD) requires a vendor-managed solution for an Inventory Management System (IMS). The purpose is to manage the storage, organisation and retrieval of library materials in various locations. The IMS should also optimise space utilisation, ensure easy access to items and the maintenance of accurate records. The system should support managing in the region of 9 million objects across 11 geographic locations and some internal locations. These locations do not use robotic warehousing systems, and all material is handled manually. The system will primarily be used by the staff of Trinity College Library located at various campuses in the greater Dublin region. This Request for Information (RFI) is issued by the EPS on behalf of Trinity College Dublin to gather information from potential vendors regarding Library Inventory Management software solutions. The purpose is to evaluate available options and identify potential providers.
