Tender for Onshore substation for Aflandshage Offshore Windfarm

To support the City of Copenhagen’s ambition to be the first CO2 neutral capital city in the world, HOFOR is planning to construct Aflandshage Offshore Wind Farm. In this connection, HOFOR has initiated the preparation of the tender for the engineering, procurement, construction, and installation of an onshore substation. The purpose of this prior information notice is to inform market players about the existence and overall features of the upcoming tender, which is expected to be launched in Q3 2022. The tender will be launched via the qualification system Achilles NCE. Lot 1: HOFOR has currently initiated preparation of the tender regarding the electrical scope for the Aflandshage Offshore Wind Farm, thus contributing to the overall objective for Copenhagen Municipality to become CO2 neutral in 2025. HOFOR intends to invite for a tender for an EPCI contract concerning the supply of an onshore substation in Denmark (Greater Copenhagen area). The scope will include civil works concerning construction of a foundation for the substation, supply of a SF6 free substation and key components. Delivery and installation are expected in 2025. The tender will be carried out as a competitive procedure with negotiation. HOFOR expects to launch the tender Q3 2022, via the qualification system Achilles Utilities NCE.
