Description

DTU is procuring a Echo 525 liquid handler for DTU Biosustain. The Echo 525 will be used as primary liquid handling systems at center for Biosustainability, where we are planning to run high-throughput screening of material for second generation sequencing. The unique focused sound energy technology of the Echo instruments allows for hands free acoustic transfer of liquids down to 2.5 nl. Thus, we can run low volume assays and direct transfer drug response curves which is crucial if material is limited. In addition, we save valuable resources since the instruments require no tips. Echo Instruments are central in the operations at Center for Biosustainability’s core facility.
