Description

The Azure Monetary commitment is a pre-payment made to Microsoft for their Azure cloud services. The forecast for Azure spend over the next 3 years has risen significantly compared to previous years due to the migration of various services to the cloud in support of Stonewater's IT strategy. The following systems/services form the basis of the increased costs: • ASR - Disaster Recovery • Veeam Offsite Backup • Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) • Azure Integration Services (AIS) Other services such as Sentinel/Defender, which are already covered through the pre-payment model, will continue to be supported and will contribute to the overall costs.
