The purpose of this PIN is to invite contractors to attend a supplier engagement event on the 31.5.2019, see further details under “VI.3. Additional information” of the PIN. The purpose of this PIN is also to give advance notice that Northumberland County Council will be seeking tenders from suitably qualified providers for the provision of body conveying. To provide appropriate, timely and robust arrangements for the transportation of the deceased from the place of death to the nearest mortuary facility, or a place specified by HM Coroner or a person authorised by the Coroner.
