Overview of what is called for: The Royal Society for the Protection of Birds (RSPB) is seeking an experienced contractor to undertake Rhododendron and Laurel clearance at Lake Vyrnwy across an area of 5 hectares plus. This work forms part of ongoing habitat restoration to enhance native biodiversity and improve conditions for priority species. Scope of Works: The appointed contractor will deliver mechanical, chemical and/or manual clearance of Rhododendron and Laurel in the area shown on the attached map. Density shown on map is indicative and the appointed contractor is expected to find and treat all Rhododendron and Laurel within the areas shown.
