Description

The acquisition provided is for 2 x 150 L customised pressure vessels for media supply and harvest of fermentation broth from currently onsite Frings Proreact15P. The acquisition provided is for 2 x 150 L customised pressure vessels for media supply and harvest of fermentation broth from currently onsite Frings Proreact15P. The vessels meet our requirements for SIP and CIP, full integration into existing system automation and physical piping and allowing for complex feeding of fermentation media through load-cells and flowmeters. Vessels include magnetic agitators, sensors for pH, temperature and pressure, ports for additions and including re-sterilisable sample ports. All contacting surfaces have hygienic design with surface roughness (Ra) < 0.8μm. Customized tanks include installation and integration into Proreact15P, onsite water test and training for personnel. In addition, future automation and needs will be supported by Frings for Proreact15P fermenter and 2 x 150 L customised pressure vessels as a shared service contract and preventive maintenance. Further common joined operational spare parts will be purchased from one sole vendor.
