The Central Remedial Clinic is seeking the delivery and installation of servers and storage in its offices in Clontarf

As part of an upgrade of it's IT infrastructure, the CRC is seeking to replace its current servers and storage. This investment in IT infrastructure is required for two reasons. First, to maintain existing IT services required across the organisation to continue operations in all departments. Second, to provide a sufficient platform of hardware to develop new IT systems and software solutions required by the Central Remedial Clinic during its 2016-2020 strategic plan. The CRC currently has three physical HP DL380 G5 dual processor servers which host 24 windows virtual servers as detailed. The current hypervisor being used is VMware. These servers are linked via redundant fibre channel switches to a HP MSA 1000 SAN. The above infrastructure is now end of life and requires replacement. The following server & storage is required to be met or exceeded; -Server sockets 6 -Physical Servers 3 -Processor cores 9660 -Processor clock speed 2.3GHz -Storage Available (Native) 36 TB -IOPS 4320 -Memory 768 GB The solution must have adequate redundancy and resilience. At a minimum the solution must be capable of working with the failure of one of the three required physical servers. The total usable storage must be specified taking the redundancy and the native storage stated above into account. The solution must be a converged or hyper converged system. The solution must have a single management interface. The solution must have proactive fault finding and reporting and ideally be able to automatically initiate part replacement. Next day 5 year on site support covering all hardware must be included. Installation, configuration and training should be included in the contract.
