***THIS NOTICE IS FOR A MARKET ENGAGEMENT EVENT ONLY*** <br/><br/>NHS Arden and Greater East Midlands Commissioning Support Unit on behalf of NHS Black Country Integrated Care Board (BC ICB) (referred to as the Commissioner) are seeking expressions of interest from suitably qualified and experienced providers for the provision of Wheelchair Services for the population of Dudley GP registered patients, or who live within the Metropolitan Borough of Dudley if they are not registered with any GP.<br/><br/>Further details are provided in II.2.4 below.<br/><br/>The Commissioner intends to hold an open forum market engagement event via MS Teams on 04th November 2025 at 14:00 – 15:30, with a follow up 30 minute 1:1 sessions being held on 06th November 2025 between 09:00 – 16:30. You will only be invited to a 1:1 session if you have attended the open forum event, to ensure all attendees have access to the same information. Sessions will be scheduled on a first come first served basis. Interested parties should express an interest in attending by completing a short questionnaire which can be found on the Atamis Health Family portal (https://atamis-1928.my.site.com/s/Welcome and search for project C396230. A link to the event can be accessed via the invitation located within the Documents area of the Atamis project.<br/><br/>Please ensure that you have registered your interest in attending the market engagement event by Monday 03rd November 2025 at 17:00. Lot 1: The wheelchair service will serve the population of Dudley GP registered patients, or who live within the Metropolitan Borough of Dudley if they are not registered with any GP.<br/><br/>Service Users must have a long-term mobility problem, and the wheelchair must not be intended for occasional social use.<br/><br/>Aims and objectives of service:<br/>• To provide comprehensive, all-age wheelchair services to support Service Users with long-term mobility and postural conditions to lead - as far as their condition will allow - healthy, active and independent lives.<br/>• To provide for Service Users’ clinical needs along with consideration of the holistic needs of the Service User, including social, educational, lifestyle and family/carer requirements.<br/>• To achieve Service User-focused goals and/or resolution of problems relating to their mobility and/or equipment.<br/>• To respond to the changing needs of Service Users with maintenance, repair, reassessments and provision of different equipment when this is needed.<br/>• To support Service Users with integration into their local community, enabling access to education and employment and thus benefiting the economy and supporting the shift from treatment to prevention.<br/>• To meet the Quality Standards and “I” statements set out in the Wheelchair Quality Framework.<br/>• To focus on value for money rather than lowest absolute cost.<br/><br/>Further details regarding this requirement can be found in the service specification which is available to download from the documents area within the Atamis project.<br/><br/>Contract length will be for a 3 year period with the Commissioner having the option to extend for up to a further 2 years.<br/><br/>The Commissioner intends to hold an open forum market engagement event via MS Teams on 04th November 2025 at 14:00 – 15:30, with a follow up 30 minute 1:1 sessions being held on 06th November 2025 between 09:00 – 16:30.
