Description

The power station is located near mountain farms and utilises a drop of approx. 58 metres in Nørdre Skålbekken [Skål Creek]. This creek/river runs from Skåltjønna and further to Sikkilsdalsåa. The intake basin is approx. 200 m3, and the power station can therefore be considered a so-called run-of-river power station. A separate system has been established for control and regulation of consumption. The goals of the project are to have a power station solution that gives:  stable power supply based on the owner's need for power  low annual operating costs/maintenance costs  equipment/components of high quality that have long shelf-life. To realise the project equipment must be procured for the facility, specified in three tender requests. This contest concerns electromechanical delivery consisting of water turbine, generator, regulator and control system. See the separate contest for system configuration and operation and separate contest for battery for load balancing/stabilisation of grid. Lot 1: Sikkilsdalseter is located approx. 1,000 metres above sea-level in Sikkilsdalen in Nord-Fron Municipality. Electric power from a separate hydro-electric power station provides electricity to mountain farms. This power station supplies electricity only to Sikkilsdalseter, and runs in so called ‘island operation’. There is not an external power grid in to Sikkilsdalseter. The mountain farm consists of approx. 14 buildings of varying size that receive electricity from the hydro-electric power station. A rough estimate of consumption is approx. 150,000 kilowatt hours (there is no exact measurement of actual consumption). A diesel aggregate is in reserve if the power station stops, where there is a separate switch-breaker.
