Description
The type of contract proposed to be awarded by the Council is a contract for services for the provision of a scheduled ferry service on the Foula to Shetland Mainland route. Subject to the Conditions of Contract, the agreement will operate from 1 April 2024 to 31 March 2027 both dates inclusive. The contract may be extended for up to another two 12 month periods at the Council’s request. Lot 1: The procurement procedure being followed for the Operation of Inter-Island Ferry Service between Shetland Mainland and Foula, is the Open Procedure in accordance with Regulation 28 of the Public Contracts (Scotland) Regulations 2015.
