Provision of Street Sweepings Treatment Services (2 Lots)

Description

Lancashire County Council was seeking tenders for the provision of Street Sweepings Treatment Services. The services will comprise the acceptance, weighing and Treatment of Street Sweepings arising from the Waste Collection Authority district areas and delivered to a Provider's Facility by the Waste Collection Authority, the Authority, and/or their transport contractor(s). The Treatment of Street Sweepings by the Provider shall ensure the Recovery of reusable materials (e.g. aggregates, organics) is maximised, ensuring any elements of waste residues to landfill is minimised. The requirements are split into two lots: - Lot 1 - Street Sweepings delivered by the Lancashire County Council and/or its transport contractor; and - Lot 2 - Street Sweepings delivered by Waste Collection Authorities in East Lancashire.
