Contract for the hire of map systems

Description

Bane NOR intends to extend the contract with the current supplier of GIS with support systems, Geodata AS. The contract is for an ELA (Enterprise Licence Agreement) free-use contract for the period 2023-2026. The software portfolio from Geodata AS includes Geocortex, ESRI software (including Maximo spatial integration), VertiGIS and FME. Other systems will not meet the contracting authority's need for a general GIS without significant development, adaptation, and resources. The current GIS is closely integrated with other ICT infrastructure at the contracting authority. GIS with accompanying systems must be seen as a whole and supplied from one supplier. The contracting authority has a professional environment with expertise in the use and operation of the current system. The contracting authority has a number of self-developed GIS system based on ESRI technology and support systems, including a system for property categorisation, a field system integrated with the infrastructure database, and special functionality connected to linear reference systems.
