Description

The University is inviting tenders for the supply and delivery of a Laser Sintering Machine as part of the Society 5.0 project. This procurement will follow the Open Procedure under the Procurement Act 2023, in line with the University’s and Ambition North Wales’s procurement strategies. The scope of services relating to The supply and delivery of a Laser Sintering Machine contract is as follows: · Supply of a polymer powder-bed laser sintering machine with CO₂ laser, accessories, integrated software, and post-processing tools. · Delivery and full installation into Wrexham University’s Faculty of Arts, Computing and Engineering. · Commissioning and calibration of the system on-site, with operator handover. · Provision of technical documentation in hard copy and electronic formats. · On-site training for up to 3 staff covering operation, health & safety, and troubleshooting. · Minimum 1-year full warranty including parts, labour, and technical support, with options for extended warranty and maintenance agreements. · Equipment to be delivered, commissioned, and invoiced prior to 31st March 2026.
