Award of School Age Childcare Programme Scoping Project

Description

In the 2022 Programme for Government Scottish Government committed to “invest £20 million to design and test options for all-year-round school-age childcare systems that meet the needs of children and families”. The School Age Childcare Transformational Change Programme has recently been established to deliver this commitment through the design and delivery of a system of school age childcare, providing care before and after school and in the holidays. This will be funded for those on the lowest incomes. As part of the work to build that system, the School Age Childcare Unit in the Early Learning and Childcare Directorate wish to commission support with consolidating their knowledge of and defining programme-level user needs, mapping the system end to end, and scoping future Discovery work on the system.
