Description
The Council wishes to invite further competition responses for the supply of goods and services in respect Water System Risk Assessment and Water Hygiene Monitoring Services (combined service) to be provided by a single service provider for Rutland County Council. This further competition has been issued to all eligible suppliers under Lot 3 of ESPO Water System Risk Assessment and Water Hygiene Monitoring Services (2025) 198-25. The overall aim of this procurement is to ensure that the assets under the control or responsibility of Rutland County Council are managed and monitored to mitigate the development of legionella bacteria and other hazardous materials as far as is reasonably practical and that any nonconformities are identified and actioned in a timely and cost-efficient manner. To undertake risk assessments and monitoring activities that will assist the Council in complying with all relevant legislative requirements. To programme the works to be as efficient as possible in respect of statutory compliance whilst ensuring cost efficiencies without compromising Health & Safety. Further information on the requirement and relevant performance standards are available within the Specification. The anticipated contract commencement date is 1st June 2025. The Council proposes to enter into one contract for an initial period of 36 months with the preferred supplier, with an option to extend for a further period of 12 months, making 48 months in total (3 years + 1 year).
