Lot 1: Das Planungsareal des freiraumplanerischen Wettbewerbs "Tigg - Hohe Straße - Kolpingstraße - Neumarkt" in Datteln umfasst eine Fläche von ca. 18.150 m2. Neben der gesamten Fußgängerzone, entlang der Hohen Straße, ist auch der östlich gelegene Bereich Tigg sowie der westlich befindliche Neumarkt und die Kolpingstraße als Verbindungsachse zur Stadthalle Teil der Planungsaufgabe. Die festgestellten Attraktivitätsverluste des gesamten Areals sollen gestoppt und eine positive, strukturierte Neuentwicklung im Dattelner Zentrum in Gang gesetzt werden.
