The Global Burden of Disease (GBD) programme produces a series of modelled metrics that provide a comprehensive picture of mortality and disability across geographies, time, age groups and gender. It quantifies health loss from hundreds of diseases, injuries, and risk factors, so that health systems can be improved and disparities eliminated. Summary of the required goods or services: 1) Produce a set of modelled metrics. Metrics covering risk factors and health outcomes available at local geography level (national, subnational, local authority), gender, age groups, years (1990 onwards). All metrics expressed as number, rate, and percent, where applicable. 2) Produce bespoke online visualisation tools.
