The City of London Police are one of 43 Home Office police forces in the England and Wales and carry out all the statutory functions as any police force in the country are required to provide i.e., protection of life and property, detection, and prevention of crime etc. Within the City of London Police there is a department called the Economic Crime and Cyber Academy (ECCA) who are responsible for the delivery of economic crime training to police forces, public sector, and private organisations. The ECCA are currently the only law enforcement training provider in England and Wales who provide economic crime training The ECCA provide open and closed courses (see website Economic and Cyber Crime Academy Economic and Cyber Crime Academy ) Open courses are available to anyone providing they meet certain pre-requisite requirements and are delivered at commercial venues within the City of London and other UK city locations. Closed courses are provided to specific organisations and are usually delivered at the clients’ own venue, however, on occasions a commercial venue will be used if they are unable to provide their own. This procurement relates to the hire of commercial venues for use by the ECCA in the following locations: City of London Birmingham Liverpool Leeds Bristol This ITT is being tendered for in 5 x separate Lots for each of the above respective locations. Suppliers can bid and win a maximum number of 5 x Lots. The aim of this procurement is to identify a commercial venue provider for each location that meets the ECCA’s requirements for high quality venues and first class customer service. The ECCA has been providing training services to law enforcement, government departments and private organizations for many years and has an excellent reputation for the delivery of its training thus, high quality venues are intrinsic to the product provided.
