Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy Area Based Schemes

Description

The successful contractor will deliver a design-and-build programme of domestic energy efficiency and renewable energy improvements for Clackmannanshire Council, including internal, external, loft and cavity wall insulation, re-rendering where required, and the installation of solar PV systems, battery storage, heat pumps and other renewable technologies. The Contractor will support the Council by identifying suitable properties, undertaking surveys and proposing optimal measures. The provider of the services must be able to provide for maximising the number of energy efficiency installations within the programme by securing and administering relevant external funding such as the successor schemes to ECO4 and the Great British Insulation Scheme, the Scottish Government’s Energy Efficient Scotland: Area-Based Schemes, and any new or successor Scottish funding streams. All works must comply with Scottish building standards and relevant retrofit requirements, supporting the Council’s objectives on net zero, fuel poverty reduction and improved housing quality. This project will help tackle fuel poverty and increase energy efficiency in domestic and non-domestic properties.
