7293 Qualification System for Multi disciplinary Consultancy Services for-Buildings and Structures

Iarnród Éireann (IÉ) is seeking expressions of interest from suitably qualified applicants to participate in the Pre-Qualification process to establish a Qualification System for Multi disciplinary Consultancy Services for-Buildings and Structures. This qualification system is to facilitate the provision of feasibility, design, planning, tender action and construction supervision / support services associated with new and existing buildings and structures projects located across the country and maintained / owned by Irish Rail / CIE. Typical projects that may tendered under this Qualification System include, but are not limited to • Refurbishment of the Connolly HQ building refurbishment, Dublin – circa 4000m2 Registered Protected Structure including conservation advice, preliminary design, statutory/regulatory approvals, detailed design, tender preparation and construction supervision/support. • Refurbishment and change of use of the former Vaults wine bar premises (circa 1000m2), Connolly, to become the CIE medical centre – all project stages • Refurbishment and change of use of existing buildings in Bray station to form staff accommodation – all project stages. • Accessibility upgrade projects to include re-modelling of train stations and provision of pedestrian footbridges with lifts and/or ramps (network wide) – all project stages. • New staff accommodation buildings for IE/CIE – all project stages. The proposed services shall involve but not be limited to: • Provision of integrated design and support services for all disciplines required in development of new buildings/structures and refurbishment/renovation/extension of existing buildings/structures, including Registered Protected buildings/structures across the full project lifecycle, or any part thereof. • Advice on planning and other statutory processes, including Building Controls and safety approvals, and implementation of same. • Advice and implementation of best conservation and restoration practices an
