Description

The project involves constructing a granular type 1 footpath following an existing narrow public right of way sand footpath providing access from Trinity Crescent to West Shore beach. The works will include but not limited to: • Excavation of the existing footway material. • Removal of surrounding vegetation. • Removal of existing retaining wall section. • Installation of edging kerbs, terram and granular type 1 sub base • Stabilisation of surrounding dunes. • New and existing sign erection/relocation. • Transportation and deposition of excess beach material. The footpath heads south from Trinity Crescent Road and finishes at West Shore beach. As the unsurfaced footway meanders south it runs between dunes, fencing and vegetation for approximately 900m. The path terminates at its junction with an existing path which runs parallel by the shoreline.
