Framework agreement - school books, teaching aids and textbooks

Rakkestad Municipality (henceforth referred to as the contracting authority), in accordance with the law and regulations on public procurements, invites tenderers to an open tender contest for a framework agreement for the procurement of school books, teaching aids, and text books for schools and other units. The procurement includes delivery of teaching aids including teacher instruction booklets, copy originals, exercise books, answer and concretisation materials for primary and secondary schools, before- and after-school care, nursery schools, and the adult education. Other entities at the contracting authority can also make call-offs on this contract. The contract does not include the delivery of books to the main public library in Rakkestad. The contracting authority will enter into a 2 year framework agreement with an option for an extension for 1+1 year for the procurement of school books, teaching aids, and textbooks for school and other entities in the municipalities. Estimated procurements in the contract period will be NOK 2,500,000 excluding VAT. The estimated values must also be seen as a guideline and not binding for the contracting authority. Lot 1: The objective and scope of the contract: The contracting authority invites tenderers to a contest for the establishment of a framework agreement for the procurement of school books, teaching aids, and textbooks for schools and other entities. The procurement includes delivery of teaching aids including teacher instruction booklets, copy originals, exercise books, answer and concretisation materials for primary and secondary schools, before- and after-school care, nursery schools, and the adult education. Other entities at the contracting authority can also make call-offs on this contract. The contract will cover the following areas: - School books, including textbooks, teacher instruction booklets, exercise books, answers and digital teaching aids that are part of the textbooks. - Independent online based teaching resources, see point 1.2.6 for reservations. - Books for nurseries and adult education. - Educational concretising material (not games or art materials) and teaching aids which allow for diversity in provision of learning styles and differentiation. - Literature, subject books, reference books and other subject literature. - Books for school libraries. - General books for other sectors in the municipality. The contract does not include the delivery of books to the main public library in Rakkestad. Each individual school will decide which teaching aids will be used in teaching at their school. The contracting authority reserves the right to procure independent online teaching resources from another chosen supplier. Each individual school will decide what is appropriate.
