Description
BAS - RRS Sir David Attenborough - Provision of calibration services Annually we need to calibrate and service the instruments used on the CTD (Conductivity, Temperature and Depth) system on the RRS SDA, as well as the Uncontaminated Sea Water (UCSW) sampling system. The CTD is a deployed system from the RRS SDA that is a fundamental tool in conducting ocean science onboard the vessel. As such it needs to have up to date calibrations on all of its instruments in order to maintain the scientific confidence in the data collected by the SDA during science cruises. The same is true for the instruments used on the UCSW system.
