Framework agreement for auditing services

Description

Rana Municipality invites tenderers to a tender competition for a framework agreement for auditing services for the period 1.7.2022 – 30.6.2024, with an option for further 1 year plus 1 year, maximum 4 years in total. The supervisory board in Rana is responsible for the outsourcing, and will decide on the choice of auditor for the municipal council. Lot 1: Rana Municipality is situated in Nordland County and with its 4,463 km2 is Norway's 4th largest municipality in area. The town of Mo i Rana is the centre of Rana Municipality. The municipality has just under 26,000 inhabitants, which makes it the third largest municipality north of Trondheim in Norway. Rana Municipality has approx. 2150 employees. The municipality is one of the region's largest employers. The framework agreement is for the provision of auditing services, including Mo i Rana Havn KF and Rana Byggdrift KF. The total value of the contract is estimated to be approx. NOK 5.6 million excluding VAT, including the option period. The requested services consist of statutory auditing (audit, performance audit, and company control), as well as some non-statutory services such as administration control and providing consultancy services to administrative bodies.
