***THIS IS AN AWARD NOTICE TO CONCLUDE THE PRE-COMMERCIAL PROCUREMENT OF THE COMPETITION DETAILED BELOW. THIS IS NOT A NEW COMPETITION. THE COMPETITION WAS ADVERTISED AND CONTRACTS HAVE BEEN AWARDED.*** This Pre-commercial Procurement (PCP) competition was funded by the Chief Science Office (CSO) for a Phase 2 Demonstration Projects R&D contracts to develop innovative solutions that pro-active target management and prediction of asthma attacks in children and young people with asthma. The total value of the procurement is 150,000 GBP which includes any VAT. ***THIS IS AN AWARD NOTICE TO CONCLUDE THE PRE-COMMERCIAL PROCUREMENT OF THE COMPETITION DETAILED BELOW. THIS IS NOT A NEW COMPETITION. CONTRACTS HAVE BEEN AWARDED BETWEEN THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANTS AND NHS GOLDEN JUBILEE.** The Contracts are between NHS Golden Jubilee and winning participants, Phase 2 projects range in size up to total costs of 75,000 GBP, inclusive of VAT. The aim of this award is to provide an opportunity for organisations working in partnership with NHS Scotland, to develop disruptive innovative solutions. These solutions will focus on the pro-active target management and prediction of asthma attacks in young people and children with asthma. The Contracts has be given to successful applicants. Any adoption and implementation of a solution from this competition would be subject to a separate, possibly competitive, procurement exercise. This competition does not cover the purchase of any solution.
