Arnarnesvegur (411), Rjúpnavegur – Breiðholtsbraut

Description

The Icelandic Road and Costal Administration (IRCA) requests bids for construction of Arnarnesvegur from Rjúpnavegur to Breiðholtsbraut with two roundabouts, a road bridge over Breiðholtsbraut and one light-controlled crossroads, as well as the widening of Breiðholtsbraut from Jaðarsel to Vatnsendahvarf. This section has two underpasses and two bridges for pedestrians and cyclists, paths for pedestrians and cyclists and blu-green soulutions for rainwater which contains a pond. Lot 1: The Icelandic Road and Costal Administration (IRCA) requests bids for construction of Arnarnesvegur from Rjúpnavegur to Breiðholtsbraut length 1,9 km, with two roundabouts, a road bridge over Breiðholtsbraut length 55 meters and one light-controlled crossroads, as well as the widening of Breiðholtsbraut from Jaðarsel to Vatnsendahvarf length 1,4 km. This section has two underpasses and two bridges for pedestrians and cyclists, paths for pedestrians and cyclists and blu-green soulutions for rainwater which contains a pond. In addition, the project contains construction of a new hot water pipe, Suðuræðar II. The project is a collaborative project between Icelandic Road and Costal Administration (IRCA), the City of Reykjavík, Kópavogsbær, Veitur Utilities and Mila.
