Description

West Lothian Council requires a web content platform that enables services to maintain and enhance their online presence, while providing customers with convenient access to information and transactional services, including online payments. Lot 1: The contract will provide West Lothian Council with a web content platform delivering the functionality required for council services to maintain and enhance their online presence. The platform will enable customers to access council information easily and use convenient digital channels to complete transactions, including online payments, submit applications, and report issues. It will also support effective communication between the Council and its citizens. The solution must include a secure digital platform accessible to authorised users on a role-based (privileged) basis. This platform will enable users to manage content and functionality across the Council’s web estate, including information pages, online forms, booking systems, and associated workflows. The contract will also include provision of a test environment to support the development and testing of new functionality, as well as the application of patches and fixes. A comprehensive hosting and support service is required, including disaster recovery arrangements to ensure service continuity across all supported websites.
