The competition concerns the purchase of new furniture for the following participants (collaborating purchasing parties) named in point 1.1.1. The deliveries are divided into the following product areas: Office furniture and conference furniture, including canteen furniture (Anticipated annual volume of NOK 14 million excluding VAT per year). Nursery school furniture (Anticipated annual volume NOK 3 million excluding VAT per year. School furniture (Anticipated annual volume of NOK 7 million excluding VAT per year. Institution furniture — exempt from the contract are institution beds, mattresses and bedside table (Anticipated annual volume NOK 3.4 million excluding VAT per year). Home furniture — used furniture for furnishing and use of residences (Anticipated annual volume of NOK 4 million excluding VAT per year. Library furniture: (anticipated annual volume for NOK 900 0000 excluding VAT per year. The value is an estimate and must therefore be considered non binding. The volume is estimated based on statistics and the accounting figures for the procurement of equivalent products for the same buyer group for previous years. The volume must be considered a guide and during the contract period will be dependent on i.a.the contracting authority's needs, activities, budgetary situation and other framework factors in the contract period. The contracting authority/business reserves the right to announce individual competitions when the volume is estimated to exceed NOK 1 million,-excl. VAT or are included in projects. This contract does not apply for used furniture or the hire of furniture. For a more detailed information refer to the tender documents. Lots/groups and parallel offers Tenders can be submitted for one or several groups. No partial tenders can be submitted in the individual groups, nor alternative tenders or parallel tenders. The groups are divided as follows: Office furniture and conference furniture, including canteen furniture Nursery furniture School furniture Institution furniture (the exception from the contract is institutional beds, mattresses and bedside tables) Home furniture (Used furniture for furnishing and use in residences) Library furniture In group 1-4, the contracting authority can sign a contract with one (1) or more suppliers (parallel/framework agreements/) assuming there is a sufficient number of suitable offers. For product segment 5 and 6 (home furniture and library furniture) a contract will be signed with one (1) supplier. The contracting authority retains the right to divide the contract between multiple tenderers and to assume all or parts of a tender. Framework agreement. The procurement will be regulated by the attached framework agreement. The contract has a duration of two (2) years with an option for the contracting authority to further extend for up to 2 years, 1 year at a time. The option is a right for the contracting authority, not an obligation. The tenderer has no equivalent right. The options are triggered automatically, as long as the contracting authority has not given notice to the tenderer that the contract will not be extended. The individual collaborating purchasing parties cannot trigger the option. ‘Termination’ will occur in writing from the contracting authority, at the latest one (1) month before the contract expires, or one (1) month before any extension years expire. Any reduction of the tenderer's scope will not incur liability. The contracting authority will sign a contract with one or more tenderers. The contracting authority expects that the tenderer studies the contractual terms and makes the required internal clarifications in such a way that a contract can be signed if awarded.
