Description

For operational tasks in the context of its responsibilities under Chapter VII of the Euratom Treaty, the European Commission utilises Cherenkov viewing devices in nuclear installations across the European Union. The devices are also used in inspections run jointly with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA). It is intended to conclude a framework contract with 1 supplier covering the supply of Cherenkov viewing devices and the provision of specific services required. The contract is to cover: — the supply of Cherenkov viewing devices, — the supply of required system parts and other hardware as recommended by the developer and manufacturer and including results of possible future system evolutions, — maintenance and repair services, development, adaptation and update of software or hardware as required, system upgrades, for example modification of the instruments or development of additional accessories, provision of advice (via telephone), provision of training at locations specified by DG Energy as required.
